1. Gol Gumbaz

Gol Gumbaz, also known as Gola Gummata, refers to a round dome. It is the tomb of Sultan of Bijapur Mohammed Adil Shah. The tomb was erected in 1656 by architect Yaqut. It is regarded as the structural pinnacle of Deccan architecture.

2. Ibrahim Rauza

Ibrahim Rauza houses the remains of King Ibrahim Adil Shah II and his wife Taj Sultana. It is also popularly known as the Taj Mahal of the Deccan. Malik Sandal designed it and the architectural marvel is a sight to behold. The tomb has a mosque to the right and a tomb to the left.

3. Jumma Masjid

Jumma Masjid is one of India’s first mosques, built by Ali Adil Shah to commemorate his victory in the Battle of Talikota. 4. Bijapur Fort
